About Hunter Crain
At age 7, Hunter began taking American-style karate in Atlanta, GA. He quickly found his shyness replaced with a confidence that came as he taught younger students in class. Teaching was Hunters gift, and he often took time out of his own training to work with his younger siblings and other students in the studiogiven many responsibilities that were usually given to adults.
After showing some interest in weapons, particularly the bo staff, Hunter began training with national champions, Alecia Sipes and Elizabeth Sipes, in 2002. Hunter quickly advanced in ability and form.
In 2004, Hunter began working with traditional goju ryu master, Arturo Espina and his daughter, world champion Jennifer Espina where he received excellent training in both creative and traditional weapons.
He has been highlighted on SportsMartialArts.com. He now trains with world champion coach, Kalman Csoka at Elite Martial Arts in Alpharetta, GA.
